4 Months Old!

Riley is 4 months today!!



He has grown so much! He is a stocky little man!
He smiles all the time! He is giggling and laughing.
He hates being on his stomach! He will for a few minutes and then bury his head in the ground and start fussing.
He LOVES standing up. He is so strong!
Finally, He his sleeping in his crib! And still sleeping all night!
He slobbers all over the place and loves chew/sucking on his fingers more than anything!
HE has rolled from his tummy to his back a few times... we are still working on that!

He is an absolute joy! I love him more and more every day! I am super sad that we only a have a few weeks left of summer break. I am going to miss being with him all day!

July 4th!

The Forth of July has been one of my favorite holidays since I have been with Tristin. His family a has a big get together and we all shoot off tons of fireworks. It is some much fun! This year I couldn't wait to see how Riley would be with the fireworks!! BUT... It has been so hot and dry, they banned the sell and use of fireworks. We couldn't even watch professional ones. Also Tristin's parents and uncle where not in town. It wasn't the same. We tried to make to most of it and we still cooked out. There is always hope for next year!!

3 Months Old!

RILEY IS 3 MONTHS OLD!!! Where does the time go? He is no longer a newborn and is considered an infant!!!

He is doing so much! He smiles a lot more and makes kind of a giggling sound. He makes a lot of noises. 

He is also starting to grab toys!

He slobbers and likes licking things!

Tummy time is still not his favorite. He hasn't rolled over yet. He almost did it but his arm was in the way!

He loves sitting up looking around and standing! He is very strong!

This month he has mostly be playing with his toys!

And sleeping of course!

Sweet Summer Time!

This weekend Riley was busy playing in the water!

First, He went for his first swim in a pool. He didn't like it at first. The water was kind of cold... but he got used to it and did real good!

Then, Riley went on his first trip to the lake and on his first boat ride! He did great! We had a great time! :)



Sleeping through the night but.....

YES! Riley is sleeping through the night!! But he is sleeping in mommy and daddy's bed. He was sleeping in his bassinet, he would wake up in between 2-3AM, I would give him a bottle and fall asleep with him in my arms. One day, I just laid him next to me.. and he slept soooo good! ALL NIGHT LONG! Ever since then I have just been putting him in bed next to me. This is something I told myself I would NEVER EVER do. I have tried to put him in his crib (I do almost every night) and he wakes up after 5 minutes... and I am not ready to let him cry it out just yet. So as of now Riley is sleeping through the night in our bed! I fed him his last bottle between 9-10PM and he will sleep until 7-8AM. But my goal is by the end of the summer he will be in his crib!!!

2 Months Old!!

WOW! Time goes so fast!! Riley boy is 2 months old already!



Riley is grown so much!! Newborn clothes no longer fit him! He is in 0-3 months! He is starting to fill out and get a little chubby!

He is smiling a lot more. He is starting to want to look around ans see the world.

He still has a good grip and holding his head up even better! Still working on liking Tummy Time!

He is not a big of a fan of sleeping on his is back! He goes to bed in between 9-10pm and will wake up between 2-3am and 6-7am. (just before mommy goes to work!) He also sleeps quite a lot during the day.

First Mother's Day!

I have sooo busy! I haven't gotten to blog... When I get home from work, I spend all that time with Riley! I miss so much during the day and last weekend we went out of town. So I am finally getting a chance! I will be better once school is out! :)

What a special day! My first Mother's Day! Tristin had to work on Mother's Day, but he was off the night before. The three of us went to eat at McBride's! Then Mother's Day morning Tristin and Riley gave me my gift... a card and gift card to go shopping! (my favorite thing to do) Then I spent the evening with my Mom and Sister. We went shopping and to eat it was a GREAT day!
