Riley is HERE!!

Our little boy is finally here... and boy do we have an amazing story about Riley's birth!

My water broke Monday, March 21!! We were going to eat supper at Hunan's and when I stepped out of the truck... it broke! I went ahead and walk in the restaurant then turned around and told Tristin "My water broke" and I headed out the door!

We got to the hospital and a short time later Riley Michael Dozier was born!! He was born at 9:56 PM.

6 lbs 6 oz
18 3/4 inches

Sooo.... that was Monday night!

The next day, Tuesday, Tristin woke up with his stomach hurting. It had been hurting him for a couple of days but on this day is was bad. Tristin left the hospital to Tuesday morning to go home and get a few things, when he came back he was saying how bad his stomach hurt. He decided to go to urgent care to see what was wrong. By the time he got there he couldn't even stand up. They took him by ambulance to the ER. Turns out it was his appendix and he had an appendectomy Tuesday night. He had to stay the night in the hospital Tuesday and was discharged Wednesday morning.

Wow... can you say a CRAZY few days!! But we have a story like no other to tell Riley's about his birth.

Riley's Room!

Riley's Room is completely finished! YAY!! Now, all we need is Riley. After a few debates, Tristin and I finally decided/agreed on the bedding. We had a mishap with the crib delivery, but it all worked out in the end. I think his room turned out super cute and I can't wait for him to be here to enjoy it!

Waiting...

Riley's due date is two weeks away and I am getting very anxious. I am reading up, cleaning the house and making sure that I am prepared (as prepared as I possibly can be) for his arrival. But as I am doing that I am getting very overwhelmed. Questions fill my head.. I think my brain is going to explode. I am ready? Do we have everything we need? Can I do this? Nursing.. am I going to be able to did it? Is it going to be too hard? Are we going to be able to make it when my pay check is docked? And that is just a few....

Not to mention... as of now I am not 100% sure I am even going to have a job next year. We can't make it on one income.

I try not to worry about everything... but it is hard. I am a bit of a worry wart. I know that everything will work out how God intends it to be. And whatever that is... we will be fine and make it threw!

On the other hand... I am so anxious and ready.. And whatever questons or worries I have don't matter! I couldn't be more excited to be a mother!! I am so ready to see my little boy!!

Now.. We are just waiting on Riley!! His room is almost ready... just waiting on a few pictures for the walls.(will blog about it when it's completly done)

I just have to back our bags and clean the house!!!

Shower #2!

On March 2, I was given a shower at work. Some awesome ladies got to together and threw me another GREAT shower. I work some of the BEST people and the BEST teachers around! Riley got a lot a great stuff! The hostesses got together and bought his bedding and another co-worker made letters for his room! Did I mention I work with some AWESOME people! :)

Now, we are almost ready for Riley!
